You can find a massage studio on every corner of the streets, as well as restaurants everywhere.
Almost brothels?
Why now this blog post? I want to dispel the prejudice that prevails in our latitudes, that every Thai massage salon is actually a disguised brothel. This is no different in Bangkok, although one often believes this. Many Thai massages are exactly what it says: Thai massages. Lie down, let yourself be kneaded, walk again relaxed.
But where does the prejudice come from anyway? Unfortunately because one or the other Thai shop is a brothel. Or at least a hand job at the end of the massage is standard. And the situation does not become simpler if providers write on the website "No eroticism" but then offer some. This naturally leads to the assumption that it must be the same everywhere. A big mistake, the providers do not make it easier for the guest by inaccurate communication or signals. The one guest would like to have more quota, the other would not like to have anything at all.
Sympathy and respect
The Thais are a very special people, the way they behave is hard to interpret for many Westerners. In addition to that, the friendly and sweet way of the Thais makes it possible for some of them to beat their pulse a little faster. Sympathy and respect are two important terms that you should take to heart when you go for a real Thai massage. With "real" I mean those, where really Thai people work. You should never fall into the house with the door and most of all you should look forward to the relaxing massage, which is really good for your health. If there is still an erotic twitch, you should leave it to chance. And perhaps chance will only strike after the second or third visit. Keyword: Sympathy.
The conclusion: Unless it is obvious, then you should not and should not expect eroticism, let alone sex when visiting a Thai massage. And it is definitely useless (and rude) to call and ask for sexual practices. Keyword: Respect.
