In the very south of Spain, on the Costa Sol, is the city of Malaga. I flew there the other day to get away from the cold. Malaga has a beautiful coast and also has a lot to offer culturally. Unfortunately it was a little bit too cold to stay longer at the beach. So I took a look at what is offered regarding massages. Fortunately, I found some (erotic) massage offers, some of them around the old town and therefore reachable without driving around.
Too much Fifty Shades...
A first offer with a nice website was unfortunately only in spanish and also on the phone I didn't get anywhere due to my lack of language skills. It is a pity, but it is better to exchange something with the person opposite. With number 2 on my list I had more success. The lady spoke perfect English on the phone, I got the address by SMS on my mobile and off I went. The place was finally an apartment, halfway modern but a bit narrow. The massage room was nicely furnished and the girl on the phone was a young Spanish woman who had spent some time in England. As other providers in Malaga, there were also treatments on the menue card that praised a nice experience in a flowery way, but in the end it is not really clear what one actually gets. I once walked with the golden mean and got more or less an oil massage with different body to body inserts. Conclusion: Rather impersonal, the massage neat but not really professional. The booked hour was not kept and during the massage the same song (I don't wanna live forever of the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack) was played in repeat. On my objection she only said that she was totally into the song and the movie. All right.
After the first mixed experience I went to the third offer on my list the next day. I was promised a tantra massage. At the door of the old building a mature Spanish woman welcomed me, dressed only in a kimono. The whole atmosphere seemed a little more pleasant than at the previous location. The communication was not easy, but such a mix of English and Italian brought me to the mat on the floor. The scents were pleasant and the session was quite enjoyable. The Tantra was not particularly authentic, but sometimes it is better that way. For my taste, sensuality is quickly lost if too much emphasis is placed on rituals. With a nice feeling in my body I left the leisure tantrika again.
All in all a mediocre and a good experience in Malaga. The level in general seemed high, I didn't come across any dodgy or questionable offers. I also found it interesting that apparently almost only Spanish women are active. Some locations even actively advertise it. At least in Barcelona it's different, there one meets more often Latinas or Asians.
Quintessence: Especially if you want to be pampered in unknown areas, it's better to go there with low expectations and maybe you'll be lucky and be positively surprised! At least in Malaga the prices were very humane, so that one can cope with an only average experience.
