One often reads on websites or advertisements of massage providers that the guest should take "a passive role". What is meant by this and above all, why should one do this?
If you go for a classical massage, you lie on the massage table for an hour (or so) and let yourself be kneaded. You would not even think of doing anything else, for example touching the masseur or masseuse. And this is where the difference between active and passive begins: in this scenario the guest is in the passive role, he is receiving.
Passive enjoyment is now the key term for sensual or erotic massages. One enjoys the atmosphere and the touch. You switch off and let yourself be. Interacting with the masseuse is neither desired nor appropriate in this case. And actually it is very nice, you don't have to do anything, you let yourself be pampered and served. From my point of view this is the maximum pleasure.
What happens if you feel this latent compulsion to caress or simply touch the masseuse? A clear answer to this depends strongly on the situation and also on sympathy. What is sometimes accepted is if you put your hand on the legs or the side of the upper body - so definitely not in intimate places. Masseuses who refuse any form of closeness usually position themselves in such a way that mutual touching is hardly possible - or they give a clear signal that it is not desired. This must be accepted and further attempts at touching are inappropriate.
As previously written, taking on the passive role means simply switching off for the moment and enjoying.
